LUO Tian is a professor in translation studies at Southwest University and a supervisor of MA students. He holds a Ph.D. in English Linguistics from the University of Macau and serves as an adjunct professor at Chongqing Medical University. He currently or previously served as a graduate advisor at Sichuan International Studies University, Chongqing University, and Chongqing Jiaotong University. His primary research interests include the history of military translation, discourse translation, corpus-based translation studies, cognitive translation studies, and multimodal translation. He has published over 30 academic papers in both domestic and international journals, including Perspectives, LANS-TTS, Babel, and Shanghai Journal of Translators. He is the author or co-editor of four academic monographs and compilations, and a translator of four books. He has served as chief or associate editor for three textbooks in translation. Professor Luo is the principal investigator of two projects funded by the National Social Science Foundation of China, one project supported by the Ministry of Education and three provincial-level research projects. He has also participated as a major researcher in four projects fundded by National Social Science Foundation of China and one project funded by the Ministry of Education. With extensive experience in translation practice, he has led translation projects for several high-profile events, such as those for the Du Fu Thatched Cottage Tourist Site in Chengdu and the Chengdu Traditional Chinese Medicine Science and Technology Conference. He teaches a range of graduate courses, including Studies in Translation History, Translation Research Methodology, and Corpus-based Translation, as well as undergraduate courses such as Chinese-English Translation, Literary Translation, and Translation Project Management. Professor Luo is an active mentor, with whose guidance over 80 students to win awards in national and international translation competitions. He has supervised multiple student innovation and entrepreneurship projects, as well as research projects. One of his MA students received the Outstanding Master Thesis Award of Chongqing, and several undergraduate and graduate students under his supervision have received university-level honors for their theses at Southwest University, Sichuan International Studies University, and Chongqing Jiaotong University.
罗天，西南大学教授，硕士生导师。澳门大学英语语言学博士，重庆医科大学外聘教授。担任或曾经担任四川外国语大学、重庆大学、重庆交通大学硕士生导师。主要研究领域为军事翻译史、语篇翻译、语料库翻译、认知翻译与多模态翻译。已在Perspectives，LANS-TTS, Babel,《上海翻译》等国内外学术期刊发表论文30余篇，出版学术专著或编著4部、译著4部；主编、副主编翻译教材3部；主持国家社科基金项目2项、教育部人文社科项目1项、重庆市教委人文社科项目及其他省部级科研项目3项。作为主研人参与国家社科项目4项，教育部人文社科项目1项。具有丰富的翻译实践经验，曾主持成都杜甫草堂4A旅游景区、成都中医药科技大会等多个翻译实践项目。先后教授“翻译史研究”、“翻译研究方法论”“语料库翻译”等硕士研究生课程和“英汉互译”、“文学翻译”、“翻译项目实践”等本科课程。积极指导本科学生参加国内外翻译大赛获奖，共有80余名学生获得各级奖项。指导大学生创新创业项目和重庆市研究生科研创新项目多项。指导学生1名获得重庆市优秀硕士论文，指导多名学生获得西南大学、四川外国语大学、重庆交通大学校级优秀本科或硕士毕业论文。
