Call for Papers
The 12thInternational Forum on Cognitive Linguistics will be held on April 27 to May 3, 2019 (Registration, April 26) at Southwest University, Chongqing, China. High quality research contributions describing original and unpublished results of metaphor, metonymy and figurative language are cordially invited for presentation at the forum. Papers (about 10,000 English words) presented at the forum will be selected through peer review process to be published in special issues of Cognitive Linguistic Studies and Review of Cognitive Linguistics, and in monographs.

Metaphor, Metonymy, and Figurative language
The working language of the forum is English. Proposals are invited to address one of the following topics (including but are not limited to):

◇Neural and biological foundations of metaphor and metonymy

Submission of full papers
Intended participants will submit the full paper (including the full name, affiliation, and email address ) to the conference email: swucis_huiwu@126.combefore March 31, 2019.
Registration and Fees
Registration is required for all presenters and participants of the conference. The standard registration fee for the conference is RMB 1500 (¥1500). The registration fee for full-time students (copy of student ID required) is RMB 800 (¥800). The registration fee may be paid on-site.
Please note that the fee covers the conference pack, refreshments during conference and certificate for participation. The fee does NOT cover meals, travel, accommodations or other fees not specified.
A letter of invitation will be provided upon request to registrants who have completed their registration.
