Panel Session

New for the 6th ICCRTI is that we plan to have a panel session plus parallel session. A group of prospective participants can propose a panel, in which thematically related papers will be presented. A panel can be on any of the given or related topics in Cognitive Translation Studies. There are two stages for submitting a panel. First, panel organizers shall submit their proposals directly to the conference organizers (transcognition2019@163.com, or kairongxiao@163.com). Once the panel has been accepted, individual authors will need to submit their full abstracts to the panel organizers for review. The conference schedule particularly suits panels comprised of up to 10 slots (25 minutes each), including time for an introduction and a general discussion.

Panel proposals should include: the name and affiliation of the organizer, the title of the panel and a description of the panel. Panel proposals shall be submitted to the conference organizers for review by 10 March 2019. The decision of acceptance will be notified by 10 April 2019. After the panel has been accepted, the panel organizers will collect abstracts of panel participants and send them to the conference organizers by 30 May 2019.

Parallel Session

Proposals that are not included in the panel session will be arranged in the parallel session. Abstracts for parallel sessions are to be submitted to the conference email: transcognition2019@163.com.

Each presentation in the parallel session will be 25 minutes long (including questions and discussion). Papers in parallel sessions will be thematically arranged.

Submission of Abstracts

Intended participants will submit the initial interest for participation (including the full name, affiliation and the topic to address in the paper.) to the conference email: transcognition2019@163.com by 30 April 2019. Abstracts will be submitted by 30 May 2019. All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the academic committee and the acceptance notification will be sent by 30 July 2019. Accepted participants will submit full papers before 15 October 2019. All abstracts and papers should be written in English.
