John R. Baldwin, 亚利桑那州立大学博士,美国伊利诺伊州立大学教授,主要讲授传播学和跨文化交际学课程,主要研究兴趣为跨文化交际学、传播学和文化研究,在Journal of Language & Social Psychology, International Journal of Intercultural Relations, World Communication等发表论文30余篇,在Wiley-Blackwell, Allyn & Bacon出版社出版学术专著4部,译著1 (葡译英) ,参编论文集30余部。在欧洲和美国举办国际研讨会上多次组织以文化和跨文化交际为主题研讨会。

John R. Baldwin, PhD of Communication from Arizona State University, Professor of Communication at Illinois State University (ISU), teaches and researches mainly in courses of Communication, Intercultural Communication and Culture Studies. Professor Baldwin has published over 30 research articles in Journal of Language & Social Psychology, International Journal of Intercultural Relations, World Communication, etc., 4 academic monographs of Intercultural Communication in Wiley-Blackwell, Allyn & Bacon, Lawrence Erlbaum Associates, etc. Professor Baldwin has also translated 1 monograph of Intercultural Communication (from Portuguese in English), contributed chapters to over 30 collections and organized numerous theme sessions on Intercultural Communication.
